1. Ethical Responsibilities For Editors
The Editorial Board of the Journal of the International Law and Diplomacy Society is responsible for the publication and subsequent processes of each work submitted to the Journal of the International Law and Diplomacy Society. This responsibility is solely for the public interest in matters related to the journal; requires independent decision making without considering personal gain. The relationship between the publisher and the Editorial Board is based on the principle of independence, all decisions taken by the editors are independent of the publisher and other individuals and organizations.
Editorial Board; it ensures the determination and implementation of journal policies such as publication, blind refereeing, evaluation process, and ethical principles. While deciding whether to publish the works, the Board pays attention to the originality of the works, their scientific quality, and their contribution to readers, researchers and practitioners.
Board; evaluates articles regardless of the authors' ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religious beliefs, and political views. It ensures that the articles submitted for publication undergo a fair double-blind peer review. It guarantees that all information regarding the submitted articles will remain confidential until the article is published. The editor-in-chief is responsible for the overall quality of the content and publication; should publish an error page or make corrections when necessary.
Board; It is responsible for making the decision to publish the submitted article based on the referee's evaluations, the editorial board policies of the journal, and taking legal measures against plagiarism, insult and copyright infringement.
The Board may decide to publish the articles with positive refereeing processes in the first issue to be published or in another issue depending on the density.
2. Ethical Responsibilities For Referee
Reviewers know that the evaluation process is confidential and should not be shared with third parties. All works are based on the scientific content of the study; should be judged fairly regardless of the author's gender, ethnicity, race, religion, nationality or political values.
The referees submit an objective, understandable and constructive evaluation report about the study within the specified time.
Referees; When they think that the works sent for evaluation are not related to their field of expertise or are incompatible with their scientific fields and knowledge, they hesitate to evaluate the work and inform the editor.
Referees carry out the evaluation process carefully and promptly.
The referees complete the evaluation process within one month.
Referees immediately inform the Board if they detect any contradiction to academic principles and ethical values, national or international principles or standards in the works.
