Hydraulic Circuit Design and Simulation of Beet Harvesting Machine

Abstract

The use of machinery has become common today with the developing technology although the harvest of sugar beet was done by hand in the past. Harvest is an important factor in the production of beets for sugar production. In the harvest of beet, which is a sensitive agricultural product, it is aimed to purify the beet from leaves, soil and foreign materials and to prepare it for stacking with minimum loss. In order to carry out these operations, a hydraulically controlled beet harvester was designed and a hydraulic circuit was created. The simulations of the established circuits were performed in the Fluid-Sim hydraulic package program.
