About the Journal

Ondokuz Mayıs University Review of the Faculty of Divinity (OMUIFD) was founded in 1986. OMUIFD is an international peer-reviewed academic journal puslished twice a year, in June and December. OMUIFD is an open-access journal.

Article acceptance dates: January 15 - April 1 for the June issue, July 15 - October 1 for the December issue

No fee is charged from the author or institution under any name.

The journal aims to publish scientific research articles, book reviews, scientific meetings, and symposium reviews in the field of Islamic Studies (Arts and Humanities/Religion/Islamic Studies & Scope: Social and Behavioral Sciences/ Theology and Ethics) and to share these studies with the public. It continues to publish compelling original research that contributes to the development of scholarly understanding and interpretation in the history and philosophy of religious thought in all traditions and periods - including the areas of Islamic Studies, Judaic Studies, Christianity, Comparative Religious Studies, Theology and Ethics.
